Screencasting is an important instructional video production method for teaching digital processes. By capturing on-screen actions with synchronized narration, it effectively uses visual and verbal channels to enhance cognitive processing. Using Camtasia enabled precise control over pacing and screen focus, allowing complex steps to be segmented and clearly explained. These projects strengthened my technical skills in screen recording, audio narration, and editing, while reinforcing the importance of intentional design decisions in creating effective instructional media.

This screencast explores a new AI tool and provides pros and cons for users who are looking to create instructional videos with AI technology. My goal was to introduce the tool's essential features with concise narration and clear visuals. I respected learner time with purposeful editing and directed learner attention with cursor scaling and highlighting.

➤ I intentionally applied tools such as zooming, highlighting, and annotation to reduce learner distraction and direct attention to essential material. To align with best practices for student engagement, the videos were edited to stay under six minutes. I aimed to create an authentic learning environment through natural dialogue and personal connection.

WBS Creation Tutorial

This tutorial explains how to build a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) template in Google Sheets. My goal was to present a concise demonstration of the WBS creation process within 4 minutes. I segmented the objectives into logical steps and synchronized narration with on-screen actions to support dual-channel processing.
